Welcome Newcomers

Welcome to St. Ann!

St. Ann Parish is a welcoming Catholic community called by God to live out the message of Christ in love and service to all people. We invite you to explore our vibrant parish united in community by faith and reverence to the Trinitarian God in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacraments.

We have welcoming groups offering opportunities to grow in faith and friendship, evenings of devotions, concerts, picnics, and more. We are happy to invite you to join us at Mass or any event.

St. Ann is located in the heart of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. Our offices are open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and we also have additional evening hours with appointments only . We close for all Holy Days and civic holidays. Email us!

Mission Statement

The parishioners of St. Ann Church are called by God, through the Holy Spirit and our Savior Jesus Christ to praise, love, and worship God through the celebration of the Sacraments and especially the Eucharist. Under the patronage of our beloved St. Ann, Mother of Mary and Grandmother of Jesus, we hope with deep humility to be a loving, caring, giving, and forgiving community in the service of all whom we touch in our daily lives. Guided by the teaching of Our Lord found in the Good News and in the traditions of the Church, we strive to be a Beacon of Faith, Hope, and Love, and Harbor of Peace.

Thank you for your interest in our parish. Whether you’re just visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, are returning to the practice of your Catholic faith or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we’re happy to have you here.

A parish is a community of believers and a spiritual family that is supportive and loving. It can be a place to grow spiritually, to put your faith in action, and to use our gifts of time and talent as disciples of Christ. We look forward to answering any questions you may have.
